Under the category of “this would be unbelievable if it were not true”, comes the adventure romp Catch Me If You Can.
Based on the 2002 hit film of the same name starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hanks, Catch Me If You Can. captures the astonishing true story of Frank Abignale Jr, a world-class con artist who passed himself off as a multitude of identities, including a doctor, a lawyer, and a jet pilot - all before the age of 21. When Frank’s antics catch the attention of FBI agent Carl Hanratty, the story becomes a study of two sparring partners hot footing it across the globe yet connected by a secret mutual admiration that was to last a lifetime.
Nominated for four Tonys, including Best Musical, this fast-paced, entertaining show was created by a Tony Award-winning "dream team," with a book by Terrence McNally (The Full Monty, Ragtime) and a 60s swinging, big band score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Smash).
We are looking for a talented cast of 23 who can act, sing, dance and ultimately have a ball at sharing this riveting story through a host of hilarious scenes and show stopping numbers.
CLOC Musical Theatre promotes an inclusive environment and welcomes all ethnicities, sizes, age ranges and genders to audition for its productions.

CLOC has learnt that the best way to deal with a COVID outbreak is to be prepared and to be flexible. Part of the success of a production in COVID times is cast willingness to step into alternate roles/supporting roles should we need to replace absent performers and to be ready to re-block parts of the show at short notice. While we would hope all cast will be open to these further measures given the impact of COVID in live theatre, we want to be sure that there is an understanding of this expectation prior to you auditioning. If cast, you may be asked to understudy a role knowing that you may not get to perform it unless there is a COVID situation.
