While limited physical assistance can be provided by front of house personnel in ascending the stairs, there will be no capacity for wheelchairs or people unable to climb the stairs (other than with minor assistance) to reach the main auditorium. |

Flexible Ticket Policy:
We want you to have peace of mind when you book your tickets, so have adopted the following ticketing policy. If any show is cancelled, or if you are prevented from attending a performance due to a COVID related issue (eg if you are experiencing COVID symptoms and are required to isolate), you will be given the option to change your tickets to a later show, where safe and subject to availability, or receive a full refund of your ticket price.
Assistance:
If you have any special needs e.g. access to the theatre or require access to priority seating for sight, hearing or mobility issues, then please make sure you call our friendly ticket secretary as soon as possible on 1300 362 547 to make your booking. This is especially important for wheelchair patrons. Due to ongoing mechanical issues, the stairclimber at The National Theatre is no longer operational. We and the team at The National Theatre apologise sincerely for this difficulty, particularly for those who may not be able to join us as a result. We are assured by The National Theatre that there will be a stairclimber in operation by early 2025.
Venue Opening Times:
The National Theatre will open the foyer 45 minutes prior the designated performance time i.e. 7:15pm for an 8:00pm evening show and 1:15pm for a 2:00pm matinee show.
The Box Office:
The Box Office will be open 45 minutes prior to the designated performance time, however, we recommend you purchase and download/print your tickets online.
Preferred Payment Method:
The National Theatre requires ‘tap & go’ payment at the bars. CLOC also prefers ‘tap & go’ payments.
Remember you have the option to pre-purchase a program with your CLOC ticket order.
Duration:
100 minutes with no interval.
