After the annus horribilis that was 2020, CLOC has taken a leaf out of the iconic Priscilla songbook, as we loudly and proudly proclaim ‘WE HAVE SURVIVED’! Not only have we survived, but we are coming back more excited and artistically rejuvenated than ever, to finally bring our loyal audiences the spectacle, glamour and uproarious fun that is Priscilla. It is the perfect show to rediscover the joy of musical theatre. So get ready to shake your groove thing as CLOC fluffs the feathers, sprinkles the sparkles, and polishes the platforms for an epic journey of self-discovery, mateship and acceptance.
Based on the iconic Oscar-winning 1994 Australian film, PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT is the hilarious adventure of three loud, proud and very different friends who hop aboard a battered old bus bound for the outback to put on the show of a lifetime when political correctness was just a thought bubble. Along the way, they strut, dance, sing, laugh, cry, and learn more about themselves – while singing up a storm to a non-stop parade of dance-floor classics including It’s Raining Men, Hot Stuff, I Will Survive, I Love the Nightlife, Go West, Colour My World, Boogie Wonderland, Shake Your Groove Thing and many more!

COVID SAFETY
We are all adapting to our new COVID Normal world, and our performances will be subject to COVID Safe protocols to ensure the health and safety of those involved. As the COVID situation and requirements are constantly changing, CLOC and The National Theatre are regularly reviewing the protocols to apply at performances and will be providing final and up to date details closer to show time. However, it is worthwhile noting that masks and QR check-ins may be required and that CLOC and The National Theatre will be operating in a primarily cashless environment, including offering you the option to pre-purchase a program with your ticket order. Also, in line with COVID safety principles, we are not able to offer our usual suppers after our first two performances. For more information on the National Theatre COVID Safe Policy, see http://nationaltheatre.org.au/covidsafe/

FLEXIBLE TICKET POLICY
We want to make your return to theatre and CLOC as easy and stress-free as possible. We know that asking you to book with us after all that has happened since the start of 2020 is asking you to take a leap of faith, but you know we will ALWAYS do the right thing by our audiences, who have so loyally supported us. We want you to have peace of mind when you book your tickets, so have introduced the following ticketing policy. If any show is cancelled, or if you are prevented from attending a performance due to a COVID related issue (eg if you are experiencing COVID symptoms, are notified that you are a ‘close contact’ or are subject to some form of quarantine or lockdown) you will be given the option to change your tickets to a later show (where safe and subject to availability) or receive a full refund of your ticket price.
